----- Speedball Rules v 1.5 -----
1.0 Speedball game playes 2 teams each with 5 players and max 3 subs. There is 2 rounds, each round is 20 min. Most goals at the end wins the game. In case of a tie score after 2nd round ends, the game will then be extended into a sudden death 3rd round where the game is won by the first team to get 2 goals ahead. Break in between rounds is max 5 minutes. Teams need at least 4 players and 1 sub to be allowed to start in a game.
1.1 All rounds start with all players on their sides. In safe zone or with least 1 player in safe zone and rest outside the center circle, on their side of the half court. The ball is placed between the asteroids in the center circle, and the ref starts the game.
1.2 Players that are disruptive to the game in any way, will get a warning. 3 warnings and that player is removed from game and the team will have to have to continue the round without a substitute for each player removed. e.g. team have 5 players and 1 player is removed, the team have to continue with 4 players in the game, regardless of how many subs they have.
1.3 Any player that is scoring from outside the goal area and the ball is phased / lagged out, gets a warning. So its a 2 way penalty, score counts and player gets a warning. 3 warnings and that player is removed from game. (see 1.2)
1.4 Teams are allowed to start only with even teams and least 1 sub. e.g. 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5. If the game is started with 4 players, it will be held even until both teams are able to play 5 vs 5. e.g. Team starts with least 4 players and 1 sub, or max 5 players and max 3 subs.
1.5 There are infinite lagouts allowed. If the Ref decides that a player is not able to play in the game, the team must then replace him or continue with the players they have left in game.
1.6 The team must have notified the ref who their 1st sub is, in order to replace any lagged out player. If a player lags out and the ref notifies, or is notified, the sub from spec is put into the game asap. When a player is lagged out and in spec, that player becomes a new sub.
1.7 A team can switch (sub) a player whenever they want, the player must belong to same squad. No other subs allowed. By switching a player, the ref will first remove the old player and then put in the new player.
1.8 A player can not be inside the oppossing teams goal when the ball is on the other court-half. Players not following this rule will get a notification and then warned if its repeated.
1.9 Spawn-killing is allowed, except before the start of a round. (use repel to get away!)
2.0 If a team is not present with least 4 players and 1 sub, within 5 minutes after the game scheduled time, they will forfeit the game by default. (the ref can set *timer 5 and *arena msg '5 minutes remain' to indicate the teams that game should have been started)
2.1 If no one from a team is present, it will go as 'no show' and they receive -1 pt for their league-score and oppossing team wins by default. A team that have a minus record for 2 weeks or have 3 'no show's, is removed from the league.
2.2 Players that arrive after the game have started is allowed to participate in the game, when new round starts and the players captain have notified the ref with their nick and ship, provided there is a player from oppossing team waiting for a 5 vs 5, then that player is also put in the game at same time.
2.3 Doublesquadding is not allowed.
2.4 Add to rule 1.0, 1.4 and 2.0 : If a team somehow during game, have less than 4 players for 5 minutes, that team is forfeiting the whole game.
